The latest trailer for Atari’s Ghostbusters imparts a pearl of wisdom as poignant today as it was back when the [[link]] movie was [[link]] first released: splitting up is always a good idea.
I think we’ve missed a rule somewhere. We’ve seen rule number two, don’t look directly into the trap, and now rule number three, which technically isn’t even a rule. “Split up” is more of a suggestion than anything else, though it did pave the way for Bill Murray’s hilarious addition, “Yeah, we can do more damage that way.”

So what did we miss? I’m thinking it was “don’t cross the streams”, but that’s one [[link]] rule that needs no trailer, with nearly every member of my generation knowing it by heart. It’s the sole reason I never go hiking.
